As a Business Systems Analyst/Scrum Master within PNC's Lending Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh PA, Dallas TX, Strongsville OH or Birmingham AL. Job Description Position Overview As a Business Systems Analyst / Scrum Master, you will play a critical role in bridging business needs with technology delivery while facilitating Agile practices across one or more delivery teams. This role is ideal for a professional who is equally comfortable gathering and translating requirements, facilitating Agile ceremonies, and serving as a strong communicator between business stakeholders, engineering teams, and leadership.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills — well‑spoken and professional in both written and verbal communication.
  • Demonstrated Business Systems Analyst and Scrum experience, ideally supporting technology delivery teams.
  • Hands‑on experience with Jira and Confluence for backlog management, documentation, and reporting.
  • Solid understanding and practical application of Agile methodology and Scrum practices.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced, regulated environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Scrum certifications (CSM, PSM, SAFe, or similar).
  • Previous software development or technical background, enabling stronger collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Experience working within large enterprise or financial services environments.
  • CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and system requirements.
  • Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation.
  • Serve as a liaison between business, product, and technology teams to ensure shared understanding and alignment.
  • Maintain documentation and artifacts within Jira and Confluence, ensuring traceability and transparency.
  • Support backlog refinement and prioritization activities in collaboration with Product Owners and delivery teams.
  • Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Coach team members on Agile principles and best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Identify and help remove delivery impediments and risks, escalating when appropriate.
  • Promote team accountability, transparency, and collaboration while ensuring alignment to Agile methodology.
  • Support metrics and reporting related to sprint progress, velocity, and delivery outcomes.
