About The Position

We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Bus Driver to join our elite team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. As a key member, you will be entrusted with ensuring safe and comfortable transportation for our passengers, while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service. Driver Position - In-Person Interviews: We hold in-person interviews weekly on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. The interviews will take place at: 1190 Transit Drive Colorado Springs, CO 80903 Please bring the following documents with you to the interview: Resume Commercial Driver's License with Passenger Endorsement or permit if available Social Security Card Medical DOT (Department of Transportation) Card if available Transdev is proud to offer: Position Subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement: Starting pay: $27.16 with progression to $33.91 after 48 months. Benefits include: Vacation: one (1) week, after one year of employment Employees will accrue paid sick leave at a rate that complies with Colorado law, up to 48 hours per year . Holidays: 6 days; and 1 floating after one year of employment Other standard benefits: 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental and vision, life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary long-term disability after 90 calendar days of employment for full-time employees Scheduling Details: Shifts are based on seniority and may vary accordingly. Hours of operation: Friday/Saturday/Sunday: 4:30 AM - 12:30 AM Monday-Thursday: 4:30 AM - 10:30 PM Please note that the schedule may be irregular. Fleet Information: Our fleet consists of various vehicle sizes, and all drivers must be able to operate each size. Key Responsibilities: Provide classroom and behind-the-wheel training to new drivers. Maintain required training documentation and completion for compliance with state certification, company policies and district, state & federal requirements. Additional safety program responsibilities such as, accident investigation, forms compliance, & safety meetings Other duties as required

Requirements

  • 21 years or older
  • Minimum 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional)
  • Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) Class A or B with passenger and airbrake endorsement or permit
  • Excellent communication & customer service skills.
  • Availability to work: day, evening, weekend and overnight shifts as assigned.
  • Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable.
  • DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.
