Position Overview Join us in the summer of 2026 and help us continue the legacy of fostering creativity, nurturing talent, and celebrating the individual artistic journey at Interlochen. We are seeking reliable and professional Bus Drivers who embody our core values and are committed to nurturing young artists. As a Bus Driver, you'll play a major role in driving a variety of vehicles, including buses, vans, and cars to transport students, faculty, guests, candidates, and performers around campus and to off-site locations, while fully immersing yourself in the unique environment that only a summer camp can offer.
Requirements
- Prior experience in transportation, especially in a school or campus setting, is preferred.
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules, weather conditions, and transportation needs.
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge to address minor issues.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to load and unload luggage and assist passengers.
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
