Building Substitute Teacher About Us Guadalupe Centers Charter Schools (GCCS) serves 1,600 students from PreK–12 and is a free, open-enrollment public charter school. Over 92% of our students are Latinx. Our school system includes Guadalupe Centers High School, Guadalupe Centers Middle School, and Guadalupe Centers Elementary School. GCCS grew out of Guadalupe Centers’ educational programming, and as the longest continuously operating agency serving the Latinx community in the U.S. since 1919, our roots in the community run deep. Position Summary The Building Substitute Teacher serves in a temporary or long-term instructional role within GCCS buildings. This position requires enthusiasm for supporting students’ academic and social growth while maintaining the established instructional delivery and expectations of the assigned classroom.
