About The Position
Rochester Academy Charter School is currently seeking candidates for Middle School Building Substitute Teaching position. This is a ten month position, with summer off. Building substitutes are eligibile for medical, dental and vision benefits and paid time off. This position requires a minimum of an Associates Degree. About Us Rochester Academy Charter School (RACS) is a public charter school, primarily serving students from the city of Rochester. Over 90% of our students identify as an individual of color. Responsibilities
- Filling in for classes when teachers are out of the classroom
- Student support and mentoring
- Occasional tutoring support in high needs areas
- Assisting in the classroom when there is no subbing need
- Different experiences each day
