As a part of the Operations Department of the Metropolitan Knoxville Airport Authority, we are are currently seeking a non-exempt Building Services Lead responsible for overseeing custodial services for assigned shift, ensuring 24/7 coverage, 365 days a year. This position provides leadership and guidance to custodial staff, ensuring the cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of airport facilities. The Lead in charge will be assigned to each shift through the Supervisor and Assistant Supervisor and will adjust and vary based on assignments and operational needs. The Lead develops work schedules, inspects completed work, takes corrective actions as needed, and serves as the primary point of contact for their custodial operations during their shift. The Lead will need to be flexible in their work schedules to maintain Lead coverage during the 24/7 airport operations. Our current hiring need is for 3rd shift, 10:00pm - 6:30am.
