Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred
Minimum 5 years of building services or facilities management experience required
Experience in healthcare, skilled nursing, or similar environment preferred
Strong knowledge of building systems, life safety regulations, and compliance standards
Proven leadership and team management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to emergencies

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire safety, and generators
Manage preventative maintenance programs and ensure timely completion of work orders
Maintain building infrastructure including resident areas, common spaces, and exterior grounds
Ensure compliance with life safety regulations (NFPA, CMS, OSHA, and state requirements)
Coordinate safety programs, emergency preparedness, and regulatory inspections
Supervise maintenance staff and provide leadership, training, and performance management
Support Environment of Care (EOC) programs and safety committee initiatives
Respond to building emergencies and support after-hours operations as needed
