About The Position

Building Services & Hazardous Materials Technician Labcorp is seeking a Building Services Technician to join our Maintenance team in Madison, WI ! Job Responsibilities: This hands-on role supports facility operations through a variety of tasks including hazardous waste collection, incinerator operation, event setup, light landscaping, snow removal, and basic building upkeep. Safely collect and document hazardous lab waste (e.g., solvents, infectious materials). Operate incinerators and other regulated equipment. Perform routine maintenance including replacing lights, ceiling tiles, and minor repairs. Assist with landscaping, snow removal, and event setup. Support painting, carpentry, and general building upkeep. Use powered tools and vehicles for various tasks. Record maintenance actions in facility systems and work orders. Collaborate with staff to plan and execute repairs. Procure materials and supplies as needed. Attend required training and complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Basic tool handling experience
  • 21 years of age and have a clean driving record with valid Driver’s license

Nice To Haves

  • 6 months or more of experience in facilities or maintenance
