Building Services & Hazardous Materials Technician Labcorp is seeking a Building Services Technician to join our Maintenance team in Madison, WI! Job Responsibilities: This hands-on role supports facility operations through a variety of tasks including hazardous waste collection, incinerator operation, event setup, light landscaping, snow removal, and basic building upkeep. Safely collect and document hazardous lab waste (e.g., solvents, infectious materials). Operate incinerators and other regulated equipment. Perform routine maintenance including replacing lights, ceiling tiles, and minor repairs. Assist with landscaping, snow removal, and event setup. Support painting, carpentry, and general building upkeep. Use powered tools and vehicles for various tasks. Record maintenance actions in facility systems and work orders. Collaborate with staff to plan and execute repairs. Procure materials and supplies as needed. Attend required training and complete other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications: 6 months or more of experience in facilities or maintenance Additional Job Standards: Basic tool handling experience 21 years of age and have a clean driving record with valid Driver’s license Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
