Carpentry: Complete minor carpentry tasks such as repairing doors, windows, cabinets, and furniture. Electrical: Conduct minor electrical repairs, including replacing outlets, switches, and light fixtures. HVAC: Assist with basic HVAC troubleshooting and maintenance, such as filter replacement and system checks. Preventive Maintenance: Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal facility operation. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure the facility meets regulatory requirements. Record Keeping: Utilize computer systems to log maintenance activities, track inventory, and report issues. Collaboration: Work with other team members and departments to address facility needs efficiently. Emergency Response: Respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests and facility emergencies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
  • Proven experience in building maintenance, with skills in carpentry, minor electrical, and HVAC repairs.
  • Basic computer knowledge (e.g., email, maintenance software, inventory tracking).
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Must own a set of basic tools required for maintenance tasks.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and organizational abilities.

  • This role has an expected salary range of $50,000-$55,000 for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position.
  • The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
