About The Position
Property Management firm is looking to hire top Building Maintenance Technician to service Class A commercial properties in downtown Milwaukee. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge and experience in building maintenance and repair. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the property is well -maintained, and all equipment is functioning efficiently.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in building maintenance
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems (HVAC helpful)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem -solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Able to pass a background check
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical, plumbing, basic HVAC
- Respond to service requests in a timely and efficient manner
- Conduct preventive maintenance activities to ensure the proper functioning of equipment
- Inspect buildings, identify maintenance issues and provide solutions
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Ensure the property is maintained in a clean, safe and professional manner
- Assist with other duties as assigned
