In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: General Cleaning Production/Office/Site Area - Cleaning and Washing of Floors/Windows, Maintaining Chip Barrels, Daily Janitorial Duties including landscaping and snow removal Maintain Hazardous Waste Room Operate a Forklift Plumbing Repairs - Faucets, Toilets, Soap Dispenser, Basic Brazing and Soldering Cleaning of Light Fixtures and Lamp replacement within the Facility Removing/Repairing ceiling/floor tiles including carpet Maintaining and/or replacing Door Hardware Maintenance Painting throughout Facility Miscellaneous handyman work requiring the use of hand/power tools for carpentry/assembly work Identify and fix minor building repairs around the Site utilizing fundamentals of various trades to make general repairs and or work with Outside Contractors with regards to Building knowledge (Life Systems). Identify, develop, and implement PM procedures while maintaining computerized maintenance management system for all Work Orders (Both PM’s and Demand). Oversee/maintain CMMS software maintenance and task completion Communicate and listen to operators, Supervisors, and other maintenance personnel to ensure safety of Facility Must follow all OSHA safety regulations/Emerson safety policies Who You Are: Someone who can work both independently and as part of a team, and enjoys using their skills and learning new ones. For This Role, You Will Need: HS Diploma Experience in Building Maintenance Knowledge - Must have all the basic knowledge and fundamentals of various trades to make the general repairs (Carpentry/Plumbing/Electrical/Mechanical) Knowledge and enforcement of building safety, i.e., lock-out/tagout, hand tool safety, Forklift Operation, etc. Ability to occasionally lift 10-50lbs Self-motivated and capable of working in a team environment with minimal supervision Strong Mechanical Aptitude/Strong problem-solving skills Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel) Clear effective verbal and written communication skills to relay information to management/outside contractors. The total target comp range for this position is $ 32.91 to $35.62/HR , commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
