JCPRD is currently seeking: A Building Maintenance Manager to lead facility maintenance operations for JCPRD by establishing goals, overseeing programs and services, and ensuring safe and efficient building operations for employees and the public. Collaborates with staff and vendors, manages maintenance and custodial contracts, budgets, and procurement processes, and leverages technology and data to track performance and inform decisions. Serves as a technical resource while developing policies, ensuring compliance, optimizing resources, and addressing facility-related issues, including safety and health concerns.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Architecture or related field. Experience may be substituted for education.
  • Five (5) years’ experience:
  • In building maintenance trades, including electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems in a commercial setting.
  • As a Building Maintenance Supervisor or related position
  • Supervising multi-crafted work crews

Responsibilities

  • Establishes and implements facility maintenance budgets, goals, objectives, and procedures.
  • Develops and documents facility guidelines and procedures promoting safety, security, and emergency preparedness.
  • Organizes and directs maintenance and operations programs, projects, and activities to ensure a safe environment for employees and the public
  • Collaborates with internal staff and external vendors to deliver facility maintenance and custodial services.
  • Manages procurement, contracting, and quality assurance for maintenance and custodial services.
  • Schedules, manages and tracks required facility life safety and system inspections.
  • Oversees and implements facility management technologies, including preventive maintenance tracking and analytics, to support performance measurement and decision-making.
  • Investigates facility-related complaints from employees and the public, including health-related concerns.
  • Provides on-call support for after-hours facility emergencies.
  • Provides technical guidance and direction, staying current on emerging processes, equipment and technologies.
