About The Position

The primary dut y of the Builder is to ensure all homes are built with care and to specifications with a focus on providing exceptional customer experience . Builders communicat e with Trades, Team Members, Agents, Municipalities, and Homeowners throughout the build of each home while leaving a positive impression with each intera ction . The Builder will report to Production Area Manager over their designated area.

Requirements

  • Have a valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to prioritize and have strong organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy, with strong follow up and follow through
  • Ability to work independently, with a strong work ethic, self- motivation and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Must have great communication skills , both written and verbal
  • Great attention to detail, with organizational and prioritization skills
  • Quick to learn new software and systems
  • Equally success ful working independent ly and as a part of a team
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivat ed and problem solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office ( specifically Outlook)

Nice To Haves

  • A degree in Construction Management and/or equivalent experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and coordinate vendors, trade partners, inspectors and others for the construction of new homes in order to maintain scheduled baselines
  • Maintain a clean and safe jobsite/work environment
  • Maintain all required B est M anagement Practices' for each home/community under your supervision
  • Assist in permitting individual jobs as needed
  • Review and approve purchase orders for work performed and materials ordered
  • Communicate at least one time per week via telephone with each customer with our sales agent present
  • Oversee completion of Verification of Completion List
  • Meet with customers on site for walk-throughs and other meetings when necessary
  • Participate in weekly team meetings
  • Assist in recruiting trade partners
  • Maintain a positive and respectful attitude at all times
  • Adhere to and enforce OSHA requirements on the job site
