About The Position

Central Showrooms is a premier destination in the RGV for builders, contractors, and homeowners seeking high-quality plumbing fixtures, lighting, appliances, and hardware. We pride ourselves on exceptional customer service, curated product lines, and strong relationships with the building community. We are seeking a Builder Sales Consultant to develop and maintain relationships with builders, contractors, designers, and homeowners. This role focuses on showroom sales, project consultation, and driving repeat business through outstanding service and product expertise.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of sales experience in Builder Products (tile, plumbing, lighting, appliances, or hardware preferred)
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Professional, friendly and customer-focused personality
  • Organized and detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple projects
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced showroom environment

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred
  • A self-starter who can grow a book of business
  • Someone who understands the builder cycle (plans to selections to install)
  • A consultant mindset-not just transactional sales
  • Strong follow-up and closing skills

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with local builders, contractors, and designers
  • Assist customers in selecting plumbing, lighting, appliance, and hardware products
  • Manage builder accounts and ongoing construction projects
  • Prepare quotes, follow up on leads, and close sales
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
  • Stay current on product knowledge, trends, and pricing
  • Provide a high-end, Professional showroom experience
