The Intern will work directly with budget analysts and senior staff to help develop, analyze, and monitor the State’s budget. The Intern will meaningfully contribute to Budget Office priorities by selecting, in consultation with staff, a research project on a key area of importance and presenting findings to management at the conclusion of the internship. The Rhode Island Budget Office is seeking a graduate or undergraduate student for a 10-week Summer Budget and Policy Internship. This position provides hands-on experience in state government budgeting, fiscal analysis, and policy development within the executive branch.
