Budget and Finance Intern
About The Position
The Department of Technology Services [https://www.arlingtonva.us/Government/Departments/DTS] is seeking a Budget and Finance Intern to join our team! The Finance and Budget section works directly under the Office of the CIO and is responsible for supporting the department’s operations by leading the budgeting and capital planning processes, procurement, and financial management. The Budget and Finance Intern will work closely with all functions of the finance team to gain an expansive experience with the various functions of the finance team, learning each of the functional areas, identifying opportunities to enhance the support the finance team provides, collaborating with members of technology operations, documenting financial processes, and coordinating process improvement initiatives.
