Overview Position Objective: The Broker Partnerships Manager plays a critical role in driving Medicare Advantage patient growth across our primary care clinic network operating in a value-based care model. This role is responsible for developing and executing a structured broker engagement strategy, building high-value relationships with Medicare Advantage brokers and agencies, and equipping field teams to convert broker partnerships into sustainable patient acquisition channels. This position sits within the Growth team and partners closely with Field Marketing, Community Liaisons, Clinic Operations, and Payor Strategy to expand access, strengthen referral pipelines, and support clinic performance. Position Location: Tampa / Remote Responsibilities Responsibilities include and are not limited to: Broker Strategy & Relationship Development Develop and execute a scalable broker partnership strategy to drive Medicare Advantage patient acquisition across the clinic network Build and maintain relationships with high-performing captive and independent Medicare Advantage brokers and agencies Focus engagement on priority health plans, such as Humana, Care Plus, Freedom, Optimum, UnitedHealthcare, and other strategic partners Establish consistent outreach cadence with broker organizations, agency leaders, and field marketing leadership Plan and facilitate broker engagement activities, including educational sessions, networking events, and partnership initiatives Territory & Market Growth Support growth efforts across core markets, beginning with Florida and expanding to Alabama and Oklahoma Partner with Field Marketing and clinic leadership to align broker strategies with local market needs and clinic capacity Identify and prioritize growth opportunities within assigned territories to increase patient attribution and clinic utilization Field Team Enablement & Training Train Community Liaisons and field teams on broker engagement best practices, relationship management, and referral development Help transition field teams from event-driven outreach to more structured, relationship-based growth strategies Provide coaching, tools, and guidance to strengthen field effectiveness and consistency across markets Program Development & Execution Design and implement a standardized broker engagement model to replace ad hoc outreach efforts Establish referral tracking, relationship management processes, and performance measurement frameworks Identify and implement co-marketing and partnership opportunities with high-performing brokers and agencies Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between growth strategies, clinic operations, and patient experience Performs additional duties as assigned Position Requirements/ Skills: Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree 4+ years of experience in Medicare Advantage field marketing, provider growth, or broker/channel development Demonstrated success building and managing broker or agency relationships Experience supporting growth across multiple markets or clinic territories Strong understanding of Medicare Advantage sales cycles, attribution dynamics, and broker motivations Experience working within a value-based care environment or provider organization Established relationships with Medicare Advantage brokers, FMOs, or health plans preferred Experience training field teams or developing market growth programs preferred Familiarity with primary care clinic operations and patient acquisition strategies preferred Proficient with Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides) for real-time collaboration Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., monday.com) and marketing/CRM software (e.g., Hubspot) preferred Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage senior leaders and stakeholders Ability to work cross-functionally and independently in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills with attention to detail Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Results-oriented mindset with a focus on execution, growth, and impact in a value-based care model Demonstrated ability to handle data with confidentiality Appreciation of cultural diversity and sensitivity toward target patient populations Physical Requirements: Must be able to travel up to 50%+ of the time Physical ability to sit, stand and move freely about the office Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to or exceeding 50% Ability to stand, walk and sit for long periods Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, reach, and pull Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as copy machine, and computer printer Key Attributes/ Skills: Has a contagious and positive work ethic, inspires others, and models the behaviors of core values and guiding principles An effective team player who contributes valuable ideas and feedback and can be counted on to meet commitments Is able to work within the Better Health environment by facing tasks and challenges with energy and passion Pursues activities with focus and drive, defines work in terms of success, and can be counted on to complete goals Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities required of the employee for this job.
