Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible from an accredited PA or APRN program
  • Current state licensure and certification as a PA or APRN
  • Surgical experience/first assist preferred
  • Previous experience in breast surgery, surgery, or a related field preferred but not required.
  • PA with willingness and ability to practice cutting-edge, state-of-the-art vascular surgery
  • Dedication to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Responsibilities will include providing care to patients in the clinic & hospital settings
  • Must be committed, willing to collaborate, and enthusiastic about taking care of patients
  • Must have excellent communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Surgical experience/first assist preferred
  • Previous experience in breast surgery, surgery, or a related field preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with our team of physicians to deliver exceptional care to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Perform comprehensive assessments, diagnose conditions, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing management for Breast Surgery patients.
  • Assist in surgical procedures, including pre-operative preparation, intra-operative support, and post-operative care. (First assist credentials preferred but not required)
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment options, procedures, and preventive measures.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to patient care discussions.
