Work/Life Balance: offering paid time off and paid parental leave Breast Surgery APP Job Responsibilities: Evaluation and treatment of multiple benign and malignant breast conditions including breast abscess, granulomatous mastitis, cancer survivorship, high risk breast surveillance. Perform comprehensive assessments of new and returning patients including history-taking, physical examinations, review of diagnostic imaging, and careful documentation. Orders and interprets appropriate diagnostic studies. Instructs and counsels patients and families regarding preventive care, medical problems, and use of prescribed treatments. Develops and implements plan for breast diagnostics and surveillance, with referrals to a surgeon when appropriate Performs in office procedures such as skin punch biopsies, incision & drainage, wound packing Works in collaboration with the patient’s referring provider as well as other members of the patient’s care team to ensure optimal patient experience and outcomes. Educates/coaches fellow staff members including RNs and medical assistants
