About The Position
Join a growing partnership between Imagen Technologies and a leading multi-site healthcare system serving one of the largest patient populations on Long Island. This collaboration aims to expand access to high-quality diagnostic care by combining a well-established clinical network with Imagen’s physician-led model, advanced technology, and dedicated support infrastructure. The opportunity offers the stability and scale of a large health system, paired with Imagen’s ongoing investment in AI, workflow efficiency, and physician experience, appealing to physicians seeking a forward-thinking, growth-oriented environment with strong clinical impact and long-term career stability. The position is full-time, Monday-Friday, day shift, with a dedicated focus on breast imaging in a well-supported clinical environment. It offers an opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of a comprehensive breast imaging program, working with a collaborative, multidisciplinary team including surgeons, oncologists, and technologists. The schedule is consistent weekdays with limited or no call, and strong operational and administrative support is provided.
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible
- MQSA certification and compliance required
- Strong clinical skills across all breast imaging modalities
Nice To Haves
- Fellowship training in Breast Imaging preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Interpret a full range of breast imaging studies including: Screening and diagnostic mammography, Breast ultrasound, Breast MRI
- Perform image-guided procedures, including: Stereotactic biopsies, Ultrasound-guided biopsies, MRI-guided biopsies
- Collaborate with referring providers and participate in multidisciplinary conferences
- Ensure timely communication of critical findings and follow-up recommendations
- Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and patient care
- Support program development and continuous improvement initiatives
