About The Position
Better Buzz Coffee is opening a new location in Apple Valley, CA, expected to open in June 2026. The company, founded in 2002, has grown into a thriving community with locations across California, Nevada, and Arizona, known for roasting its own organic, fair trade, and rainforest-certified coffee weekly. Better Buzz Coffee Roasters emphasizes a lifestyle fueled by fun, teamwork, and creating connections through coffee, focusing on energy, authenticity, and community. They seek gregarious, hospitable, accommodating, competitive, and energetic individuals who are available to work at least 22 hours per week, including weekends and holidays. The role involves delivering the Better Buzz experience, being knowledgeable about products, preparing beverages and food, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Baristas are cross-trained across all café positions, including Point of Sale, order taking (Expo, Drive-Thru), and Back of House (cooking & prepping). Once hired, training will be provided at their San Jacinto location. Requirements
- Passion for great coffee and exceptional guest service
- Strong communicator with a positive, solution-oriented attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and available for nights, weekends and holidays
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Nice To Haves
- 1+ year experience in coffee, food service, or hospitality preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver the Better Buzz experience through fast, friendly, and genuine service
- Be knowledgeable about our coffee, tea, food, and specialty drinks
- Prepare and serve beverages and food consistently following recipe standards
- Work all café positions — our baristas are cross-trained and adaptable – including working in our kitchens to make food to order
- Keep our space clean, safe – always ready for guests and teammates
- Cashier - Point of Sale
- Expo - Inside & Outside Order Taking
- Working the Drive-Thru (if drive-thru)
- Supporting Third-Party Delivery & Online Orders
- Back of House - Cooking & Prepping
