About the site: Our Indianapolis facility combines precision machining and assembly capabilities to deliver high-quality medical device components and finished products. About the role: The Equipment Operator will be responsible for operating equipment used in the manufacturing of products. The operator will work with other employees to effectively meet or exceed expectations for product quality and production rates. Work Model: 1st shift 7:00am-3:30pm

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of Break Press experience and/or training.
  • 3+ Years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Adheres to company safety policies and programs such as Personal Protective Equipment, Incident/Injury Reporting, Hazard Communication and Labeling.
  • Operating a Press Break Machine.
  • Ability to locate tooling, and material for jobs.
  • Ability to use and read calipers and protractors.
  • Setup of Press Brake.
  • Must be able to read blueprint and drawing.
  • Project time management.
  • Able to run various jobs on two machines.
  • Performs spot checks of products to ensure adherence to approved quality.
  • Maintains documentation and paperwork to include accurate counts of parts.
  • Notifies supervisor of product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions immediately.
  • May help train new employees as required.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
