Over the years, we have continually expanded our capabilities, earning the trust of global OEMs. The Break Press Operator is responsible for processing metal parts in a machining center that meets applicable quality standards. Operators are also tasked with inspecting finished products for quality, and ensuring all work is completed on time following safety protocol.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1-year experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other drawing aids
  • Ability to follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Ability to efficiently manage time to meet production deadlines.
  • Maintain a level of accuracy and quality in all final products.
  • Ability to communicate with team members and leads to share updates on machine performance and production progress.

Responsibilities

  • Operates various break presses.
  • Reads blueprints and/or work orders to determine product or work instructions specifications.
  • Loads parts per a program and/or work instructions to create desired results.
  • Cleans, lubricates, and maintains equipment and fixtures.
  • Performs required documentation/clocking procedures as parts are produced.
  • Transfers components, products, or assemblies to the proper storage type as stated in the work instructions or job traveler.
  • Inspects and measures completed parts using: calipers, height gauges, micrometers, and go/no go gauges.
  • Collaborates with team members and leads to meet production goals.
