About The Position

We’re looking for a hands-on, tech-savvy Break-Fix Technician to keep our high-speed inkjet production printers running at peak performance. You’ll be the go-to expert for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Helix inkjet systems, making sure production never skips a beat. This is a fast-paced environment where you’ll learn, solve problems, and make an immediate impact!

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years’ experience in inkjet or digital printing maintenance and repair (Helix experience a plus).
  • Strong troubleshooting and mechanical/electronic repair skills.
  • Tech-forward mindset and comfort using diagnostic software tools.
  • Excellent communication skills — bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
  • Organized, dependable, and thrives under pressure.
  • Curious, collaborative, and eager to learn new technology.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose hardware, software, and print-quality issues on Helix inkjet printers.
  • Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve problems quickly.
  • Replace parts, repair mechanical and electronic components, and recalibrate systems.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance (cleaning printheads, replacing inks, calibrations, etc.).
  • Keep detailed service logs, maintenance records, and part usage reports.
  • Provide real-time support to machine operators — train and guide them on machine operation, basic troubleshooting and best practices.
  • Partner with IT, production, and vendor teams to resolve complex issues fast.
  • Track spare parts and consumables, making sure critical items are always in stock.
  • Record inventory levels and help improve repair-response efficiency.
  • Stay current on the latest inkjet tech, software updates, and tools.
  • Participate in hands-on training and contribute ideas for process improvement.
