About The Position

Genesis Hospitality, is seeking a Full Time and experienced Bread Baker to join our team! Chez Alice Patisserie is a high volume commercial bakery. The candidate must also produce breads for our multi-unit restaurant group out of a well- appointed commissary bakery. Candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Must also be willing to work mornings, weekdays, weekends and/or holidays Shift: 5am-3pm 5 Days per week, 50 hours per week

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus, however, not required

Responsibilities

  • Weigh flour and other ingredients to prepare dough from scratch
  • Properly weigh and mix ingredients to produce breads and rolls
  • Bake different bread types, baguettes and multigrain bread styles
  • Working knowledge of all production practices
  • Adjust oven temperatures to ensure proper baking
  • Recommend recipes to renew our menu (i.e. gluten free)
  • Maintain inventory and place orders as necessary
  • Evaluate the quality of product prior to shipment
  • Determine production quantity and quality of product
  • Ensure proper storage of all ingredients and bread products
  • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis
