Unlike most over-the-counter options, Hilma is made without drugs, dyes, fillers, preservatives, or artificial sweeteners. The company makes natural remedies accessible to a mainstream customer, who has embraced natural products in food, beauty, and household items, and is looking for an effective natural option for their medicine cabinet. Hilma is female-founded and led. Hilma is an omnichannel brand, sold DTC on hilma.co as well on Amazon and in 10,000+ stores, including Target, Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, Grove Collaborative, Thrive Market, and more. In 2022, Hilma was acquired by the Biocodex Group, an international pharmaceutical company based in France with a US subsidiary located in Bedminster, NJ. In order to accompany the growth of Hilma, we are looking for a: Brand Marketing Director You will be a critical part of a lean team in the company’s growth stage. You’ll have the opportunity to set strategy and lead a best-in-class marketing organization towards its revenue goals, executing excellence in the areas of omnichannel marketing strategy, brand positioning, customer experience, and portfolio management.

Responsibilities

  • Brand Strategy & Positioning Develop and execute a cohesive brand and marketing strategy that drives Hilma’s growth across Amazon, DTC, and retail.
  • Define and continuously refine brand positioning using consumer insights, market data, and competitive intelligence.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the customer and competitive landscape to shape strategies that attract new users and strengthen loyalty.
  • Integrated Marketing & Creative Execution Create and lead the planning of fully integrated marketing campaigns across paid, owned, and earned channels—including digital, retail activations, PR, influencer, and partnerships.
  • Drive the creative briefing process to ensure messaging, visuals, and storytelling align with commercial objectives and brand strategy.
  • Ensure all campaigns deliver against performance targets and contribute to brand equity and revenue growth.
  • Partnerships & Community Growth Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships that expand brand awareness, acquisition, and engagement.
  • Develop co-branded initiatives with external partners to create unique consumer experiences and build community.
  • Customer Experience Own the end-to-end Hilma customer experience across ecommerce, Amazon, and retail.
  • Oversee customer inquiries, feedback channels, and ongoing insight generation to inform improvements across the funnel.
  • Portfolio Management + Product Development Lead portfolio and lifecycle management, including SKU rationalization and channel strategy.
  • Partner closely with product development on innovation, from insight generation and concepting to ingredient selection, pricing, and commercialization.
  • Budget + Performance Own P&L performance and drive growth through strategic decisions across pricing, promotion, innovation, margin, and distribution.
  • Manage marketing budgets and develop KPI dashboards to track and report on marketing performance and ROI.
  • Team leadership Lead, mentor and inspire a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, curiosity and growth.
