About The Position

This role is responsible for defining and executing the organic brand strategy across social, PR, and community channels. The Brand Manager will lead initiatives that elevate brand perception, engage audiences, and strengthen community presence, while building scalable systems to sustain long-term growth. This position blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution, including content creation, agency management, and cross-functional collaboration. You will craft compelling stories about the brand, products, and people, ensuring alignment across marketing, creative, and operational teams. Success in this role directly impacts customer engagement, brand reputation, and overall growth in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in brand marketing, social media, communications, or related roles.
  • Proven experience managing organic social strategies for a brand, ideally in tech, B2B, DTC, or agency settings.
  • Strong understanding of PR strategy and experience managing external agencies.
  • Experience building communities and evolving a brand in regulated or complex industries (healthcare, fintech, etc.).
  • Exceptional written, editorial, and visual storytelling skills with hands-on content creation ability (Canva, CapCut, in-platform tools, AI-assisted tools).
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, working cross-functionally and with external partners.
  • High ownership mentality and ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute organic social media, PR, and community engagement strategies to strengthen brand presence.
  • Create, curate, and publish content that tells compelling stories about the brand, products, and people.
  • Monitor brand sentiment and reputation, responding to conversations and escalating issues as needed.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Creative, Growth, Product Marketing, and People Operations to ensure brand alignment.
  • Build scalable processes, playbooks, and frameworks for long-term brand growth and consistency.
  • Lead in-field content creation, capturing moments from events, labs, and internal teams for social storytelling.
  • Manage external agencies for PR, thought leadership, and media campaigns while measuring impact on brand objectives.
