Founded in 1946 in the city of Greensburg, PA, Scott Electric Company is one of the largest independent electrical distributors in the United States, and has grown into a thriving business with storefront locations throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ohio, and West Virginia. This restrictive covenant is for 3 years or within 100 miles of any Scott Electric location. Scott Electric has a current opening at our Cleveland, OH, branch for a Full-Time Branch Sales Manager. Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree or meaningful sales experience – 5 years
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of electrical products
  • Ability to build sales plans and handle time effectively
  • Ability to communicate ideas and concepts to influence business partners
  • Collaborate well in a team environment and develop account relationships
  • Utilize analytics to evaluate market opportunities and impact business performance
  • Provide innovative & creative solutions to business challenges
  • Strong dedication to individual growth and leadership development
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent leadership and time management skills
  • Must submit to a background check and drug testing

Responsibilities

  • Handle sales and distribution within a given geography
  • Responsibly sell company initiatives to partners, including promotions, new brands, inventory management, and pricing strategies
  • Consult, advise, and engage with partners on category management and business analytics to help improve the performance of their business
  • Develop innovative ways to improve business performance through data analysis, brand marketing, and purposeful planning
  • Develop and utilize systems to track, measure, and analyze progress against key marketing initiatives and other business metrics
  • Grow leadership capability through ongoing comprehensive training and high-impact experiences while managing a sales team
