As the Brake Press Operator, your primary responsibility is to accurately set up and operate fabricating machines. Requirements

  • Has a detailed knowledge of CNC/NC Programming and understanding of geometric tolerances
  • Can identify problems and review information
  • Has the ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints to ensure products are machined correctly
  • Can use math skills to solve problems
  • Understands written information and follow guidelines to arrange objects or actions in a certain order
  • Has the ability to calculate bend lines and angles
  • Can determine the tools and equipment needed to do a job
  • Has the ability to understand and willingness to follow existing QC processes
  • Can lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Or any combination of education and experience that would provide the required skill and knowledge for successful performance

Responsibilities

  • Disassemble machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs
  • Repair, replace, adjust and align components of machinery and equipment
  • Clean and lubricate parts and equipment
  • Install equipment, machines, wiring, or programs to meet specifications
  • Operate and control equipment
  • Inspect and evaluate the quality of products
