About The Position

The Box Office Seller is responsible for selling tickets to the general public for Oakland Athletics Home Spring Training games at Hohokam Stadium in Mesa, AZ.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, or GED equivalent.
  • Willing and able to work non-traditional hours
  • Willing and able to work all Spring Training home games in addition to some pre-season preparation and post-season wrap-up days.
  • A service mindset with excellent verbal and interpersonal skills and the ability to take the initiative to provide solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail in a fast paced work environment.
  • Team oriented attitude with a “can do” service focus.
  • Ability to demonstrate professionalism and maturity when responding to staff and fans.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience working in events and in a customer relations role will be a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Sell admission tickets to spring training games to the general public.
  • Assist guests at the box office window for all ticketing inquiries.
  • Answer questions regarding tickets and game schedules.
  • Provide high quality customer service to fans.
  • Other duties as assigned.
