About The Position

Comply with all established safety rules and regulations. Work in a safe manner and look out for your co-worker’s safety. Ensure all safety procedures and standard operating procedures (SOP) are accurately followed and documented Actively participates and is engaged in safety initiatives, problem solving, Lean, Self-Directed Teams, continuous improvement and line efficiencies. Responsible for maintaining quality product standards as established by Bacardi Bottling Corporation, and all products produced under the trademark. Ensure compliance with Hazard Analysis of Critical Control Points (HACCP), International Standardization Organization (ISO) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), Chemical Hygiene, as implemented. Operate bottling line equipment, including depalletizing, filling, rinsing, capping, labeling, case packing, case labeling, palletization and packaging machinery safely, correctly, and efficiently to meet production goals Load and replenish materials such as bottles, labels, caps, and packaging supplies as needed. Continuously monitor equipment performance, conduct routine maintenance to identify and troubleshoot minor issues, including performing changeovers and autonomous maintenance on equipment, to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Accurately document production data, downtime, and other key performance metrics. (EIT updates) Work closely with supervisors and teammates to support smooth production flow and perform other duties as assigned to contribute to team success. Actively participate in safety initiatives, Lean Manufacturing practices, problem-solving sessions, and Self-Directed Teams to enhance line efficiencies, quality and overall performance on the bottling line. Regularly perform and document product quality inspections in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with company standards. Engage in SMED (Single-Minute Exchange of Dies) activities to streamline changeover processes and improve line performance. Perform Clean in Place (CIP) sanitation. Must be able to work at elevated heights.
