About The Position

The Border Security Transformation Manager will lead a dynamic and cross functional team supporting U.S Federal border security customers. In this role, the candidate will lead a team of analysts, data engineers and data scientists developing integrated data models, training programs and transformation strategies for key border security agencies. Duties will include: Develop, govern and oversee execution strategies for transformational data modeling initiatives Lead project delivery and client communication ensuring effective project and risk management Coordinate with key operators, executives and business users to develop accurate requirements for future solution development Lead multiple agile based data and strategic initiatives across key innovation and strategy customers. Support key mission clients within the Washington DC Metro region at client sites

Requirements

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED CBP PUBLIC TRUST
  • Bachelor's degree
  • FIVE (5) years of project management experience
  • THREE (3) years of delivering solutions to the Department of Homeland Security
  • Demonstrated ability to construct and lead cross functional teams of data and process analysis team members
  • Experience leading technology pilots, prototypes and/or initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience effectively managing cost, schedule and performance for federal government contracts

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree
  • Active Project Management Professional, Certified Scrum Master or other relevant professional project management certification
  • Experience leading the development of strategic communications plans and strategies
  • Direct Experience supporting DHS Acquisition programs of record, with a preference for CBP programs
  • Proven track record of on time, under budget project execution

Responsibilities
