About The Position

DACUT is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial transactions and maintain accurate, organized financial records. This role plays a critical part in supporting accounting operations by ensuring timely processing of payables and receivables, accurate reconciliations, and clean financial data across our corporate and cannabis operations.

Requirements

2+ years of bookkeeping or related experience
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
Experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets and accounting software
High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

Nice To Haves

Experience in the cannabis industry
Familiarity with multi-entity or multi-site operations
Experience supporting audits or working in regulated environments
Knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforms

Responsibilities

Manage daily bookkeeping activities, including recording financial transactions and maintaining accurate records
Process and track Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including invoice entry, payments, and collections
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial accounts on a regular basis
Maintain and update the general ledger with proper documentation and coding
Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate recordkeeping
Support month-end and year-end close processes by preparing reports and reconciliations
Maintain organized financial documentation for internal use and audits
Ensure compliance with company policies and assist with regulatory requirements
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in bookkeeping workflows
