Your role on the team: Reports to the Sr. Director Trade Services Supervises the Bond Trade Services department Provides Bond Trade Services personnel with custom compliance guidance Provides internal and external clients with customs compliance guidance Assist with business development related activities with a focus on growth. Resolves customer custom bonds compliance issues to include research and guidance Coordinates with Company offices to ensure customer custom compliance Provides assistance to Sales and Marketing department in preparing RFQ’s and sale bids Performs special customer project work as needed Supervises major Company bond compliance accounts

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and training
  • Knowledge of customs regulations and other government agency requirements
  • PC literate to include Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and co-workers
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Ability to negotiate profitable partner relationships with regional and National logistics clients
  • Dynamic leadership skills

Responsibilities

  • Supervises the Bond Trade Services department
  • Provides Bond Trade Services personnel with custom compliance guidance
  • Provides internal and external clients with customs compliance guidance
  • Assist with business development related activities with a focus on growth.
  • Resolves customer custom bonds compliance issues to include research and guidance
  • Coordinates with Company offices to ensure customer custom compliance
  • Provides assistance to Sales and Marketing department in preparing RFQ’s and sale bids
  • Performs special customer project work as needed
  • Supervises major Company bond compliance accounts
