The Huffines Automotive Painter refinishes and paints bodies of vehicles in accordance with factory and dealership quality specifications and time standards. The Huffines Painter has the skill level to efficiently and accurately paint vehicles. Huffines Requirements: Minimum of (3) years of collision paint in a large facility or dealership environment Must exhibit a professional appearance and demeanor Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record Must be physically fit to lift, bend, and work with both manual and power tools Must have a valid driver's license Must be at least 18 years old Paint, I-CAR & ASE certifications are a plus Huffines Responsibilities: Review body work for quality and completeness as it comes in to the paint department Complete refinish operations as described in the work order Work in harmony with the production schedule and coworkers to meet deadlines Prepare, prime, treat, refinish and paint vehicle surfaces and vehicle bodies according to dealership and manufacturer specifications. Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping or washing and removing rust, metal, grease and dirt from work surface(s). Inspect painted units for quality of workmanship, noting any runs, sags, and unpainted areas; maintain the highest possible standards of workmanship. Clean and maintain equipment and tools after each use Maintain and wear all required personal protective equipment, including respirator, in the manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer. Comply with all regulations pertaining to hazardous materials. Ensure that customer vehicles are kept clean Meet customer service standards by achieving customer service information “CSI” scores. Follow established safety protocols; report any shop equipment in improper working condition; immediately report safety incidents. Other duties as assigned. Requirements
