About The Position

The Huffines Custom Designs Technician is a member of the Premiere Jeep, Dodge, and Ram shop in the area that specializes in fleet accessories and more! This role is a multi-faceted technician that installs accessories and parts to fleet vehicles with the highest quality standards, (shelving, bulkheads, back up cameras, side steps, goosenecks, inverters, vehicle trackers, decals, ladder racks etc).

Requirements

• Verifiable work history with demonstrated knowledge of aftermarket accessory installation
• Working knowledge of vehicle electronics systems (lighting and 12-volt audio)
• Strong understanding of vehicle driveline systems
• Ability to perform diagnostics and regular service repairs
• Promaster Jeep and Ram truck experience - preferred but not required
• ASE certifications and Parts Department experience - preferred but not required
• Some post-secondary automotive training
• High school diploma or GED
• Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
• Results-oriented self-starter
• Commitment to delivering world-class customer service
• Demonstrated desire to learn new processes and adapt quickly

Nice To Haves

• Promaster Jeep and Ram truck experience - preferred but not required
• ASE certifications and Parts Department experience - preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Installs custom accessories in accordance with customer expectations
• Ensures all customized installations are within legal guidelines
• Identify, diagnose, and execute any issues based on experience, analysis, and testing
• Performs routine inspections or tests and completes standard maintenance jobs
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicles while performing service or repairs
• Helps maintain shop appearance and safety standards
• Ensures the shop runs efficiently by performing duties such as inventory stocking and other general functions as necessary
• Follows all shop policy, procedure, safety, and environmental rules
• Performs other duties as assigned
