About The Position

The Customer Service Representative answers incoming customer phone calls, processes customer orders, manages customer relationships and collaborates with Quality Assurance to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required/secondary degree desired
  • Knowledge of computers, internet and use of Microsoft Office suite required
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices required, minimum 3-years
  • Keyboard skills
  • Knowledge of telephone answering techniques

Responsibilities

  • Process sales orders timely and accurately from customers via email and fax
  • Professionally answer telephone, log and screen and direct calls, gathering and communicating correct data for customer
  • Proper use of internet and access data bases to inform customers of product updates/enhancements
  • Manage customer relationships
  • Proactive outbound calls to increase customer satisfaction/communication
  • Handles initial customer complaints, provides customer support and monitors customer satisfaction
  • Sends samples and literature to prospective customers as needed
  • Provide technical support to customers as needed
  • Research shipments for both internal and external customers
  • General administrative and clerical support if needed
  • Take and relay messages as necessary
