Lithia Hyundai of Anchorage is seeking a Body Shop Manager. The Body Shop Manager will be responsible for monitoring, directing, and administering all aspects of production workflow, managing administrative tasks related to warranty and receivables, ensuring compliance with manufacturer policies, addressing customer requests, developing staff, and completing departmental reporting.

Requirements

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Body Shop Manager
Solid understanding of estimating process and system
Knowledge of new vehicle technologies and mechanical operations
Working knowledge of computers
Operate a wide variety of cars, light trucks, and vans, with ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions
Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence
High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.

Responsibilities

Monitor, direct and administer all aspects of production work flow.
Manage the administration, tracking and follow-up required to stay current on warranty and receivables.
Ensure that all manufacturer policies and procedures are followed.
Address customer requests, questions and concerns in a professional, courteous and prompt manner.
Develop staff by setting and communicating performance/production expectations, monitoring performance, identifying development needs, coaching and mentoring.
Comply with company safety policies and procedures.
Timely completion of body shop department reporting and month-end procedures.
