Requirements

  • Proven experience in body shop management or a similar role in the automotive repair industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Knowledge of auto body repair processes, safety standards, and insurance procedures.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with shop management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or management certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the body shop, ensuring timely and quality repairs.
  • Supervise and support technicians and staff to meet company standards and customer expectations.
  • Coordinate with insurance companies, customers, and vendors to facilitate repair processes.
  • Maintain inventory and order parts and materials as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, track expenses, and monitor shop productivity.
  • Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and service quality.
