About The Position

Mills Auto Group is seeking an experienced and dynamic Body Shop Manager to lead our collision repair department in Harvey, LA. The ideal candidate will oversee daily shop operations, ensure high-quality repairs, and provide exceptional customer service while managing a skilled team of technicians and staff. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining safety and efficiency standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in body shop management or a similar role in the automotive repair industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Knowledge of auto body repair processes, safety standards, and insurance procedures.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with shop management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or management certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the body shop, ensuring timely and quality repairs.
• Supervise and support technicians and staff to meet company standards and customer expectations.
• Coordinate with insurance companies, customers, and vendors to facilitate repair processes.
• Maintain inventory and order parts and materials as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and manage budgets, track expenses, and monitor shop productivity.
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and drive customer satisfaction.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and service quality.
