About The Position

We are looking for a Body Shop Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our growing team! The right candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to successfully educate customers on our process and current timelines. Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Customer Service Experience (automotive industry preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with shop management software (e.g., DealerTrack)
  • Sufficient reading skills to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
  • Strong writing skills to respond to inquiries via email and generate business correspondence
  • Presentation skills to share information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
  • Mathematical skills to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
  • Ability to interpret and follow instructions shared in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Clean driving record & valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of auto body repair processes (a plus, but can be learned on the job)

Responsibilities

  • Promote and seek out opportunities to deliver a top-notch customer experience
  • Greet customers in person, over the phone, or via email.
  • Listen to customer concerns regarding vehicle damage.
  • Provide updates on repair progress.
  • Address questions or complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Assist with scheduling repair appointments.
  • Work with estimators or insurance adjusters to ensure accurate repair estimates.
  • Help coordinate vehicle drop-off and pickup times.
  • Enter customer and vehicle information into shop management systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of estimates, repair orders, and customer communication.
  • Process payments and insurance claims.
  • Serve as a liaison between technicians, estimators, and customers.
  • Communicate changes or delays in the repair process.
  • Conduct follow-up calls after service is complete to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in handling customer feedback or concerns post-repair.
