About The Position
Boater’s World Marine Centers is hiring Seasonal Boat Detailers to support their Lake Placid team during peak boating season from May through August. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role focused on keeping boats and marine equipment in clean, polished, ready-for-the-water condition as they move through sales, service, and delivery. If you enjoy working outdoors, staying busy, and take pride in your work, this is a great opportunity to gain experience and be part of a strong, team-focused dealership.
Requirements
- Must be 17 years or older
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Comfortable working outdoors in Florida weather
- Physically capable of hands-on work throughout the day
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Willingness to learn — no experience required
Responsibilities
- Pressure wash boats and marine equipment
- Detail interiors and exteriors to high standards
- Clean and protect upholstery, canvas, and interior surfaces
- Buff and wax boats to maintain shine and protection
- Polish metal, glass, and finishing surfaces
- Ensure every boat is presentation-ready for customers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service lot
- Assist with preparing boats for delivery and display
- Support the service team with additional tasks as needed
