About The Position

Adelphi is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide behavioral services in a school setting located in Bordentown, New Jersey. The ideal candidate will work closely with the school administration to provide services to students in accordance with established guidelines and standards of practice.

Requirements

  • Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
  • Minimum of one (1) year supervised experience as a Behavior Analyst.
  • Demonstrated experience providing behavioral services within public school settings under IEPs, 504 Plans, and/or Intervention & Referral Services (I&RS) Plans.
  • Experience conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
  • Ability to provide services in accordance with New Jersey public school regulations and district policies.
  • Ability to participate in due process hearings, complaint investigations, and other legal proceedings as required.
  • Ability to perform the functions of the position.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and develop, implement, and revise Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) aligned with IEPs, 504 Plans, and I&RS Plans.
  • Provide direct behavioral services, including intensive instruction, verbal behavior programming, discrete trial sessions, and individualized student interventions.
  • Collaborate with teachers, district staff, and families through classroom observations, consultations, and parent training to support effective behavior planning.
  • Monitor and analyze student data (at minimum monthly), track progress, write goals/objectives, and participate in meetings related to student performance.
  • Develop behavioral programming initiatives and deliver staff training and professional development to support district-wide behavior systems.
  • Maintain required documentation, including service logs, billing records, quarterly summaries, and all district-mandated reports.
  • Support district initiatives, participate in legal proceedings when required, and perform additional duties within scope of qualifications as assigned.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
