About The Position

Position Summary: The BCBA will support individuals and their families by coordinating and providing services in Applied Behavior Analysis, functional analyses and assessment, behavior acquisition and reduction procedures, and adaptive life skills. The BCBA will also oversee the programming of associate behavior analysts and provide ongoing support and supervision to Behavior Technicians regarding the implementation and documentation associated with treatment plans.

Requirements

Ability to demonstrate competence in behavior management skills, instructional skills, oral and written communication, organizational skills, and interpersonal relations.
Ability to work with various clients regarding age and functionality with minimal direction.
Knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook systems.
Ability to respond quickly to phone calls, text messages, and emails.
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to develop and maintain positive relationships
Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
Be licensed in Pennsylvania as a behavior specialist
All Children's Services employees are required to have the following clearances and training: Child Abuse (no more than five years/60 months from the date of hire) FBI Fingerprint Check (no more than five years/60 months from the date of hire) PATCH (no more than five years/60 months from the date of hire) Mandated Reporter Training (no more than one year/365 days from of hire)

Responsibilities

Function in a supervisory capacity and provide oversight to all areas of programming, including but not limited to Behavior Technicians
Assist in the development, facilitation, and follow-up training in Applied Behavior Analysis
Facilitate and assist in developing and identifying resources and support information for clients and their families.
Provide model teaching and other direct instructional supports, including practicum supervision/teaching, class instruction, and in-service instruction to other support professionals.
Assist in developing and implementing assessment tools, conduct functional assessments and analyses when appropriate, and establish appropriate behavior strategies to teach proper behavior and reduce maladaptive behaviors
Provide ongoing support and training to Behavior Technicians in implementing ABA principles and methodology and behavior reduction strategies.
Establish an ongoing data collection system to establish a baseline and programmatic efficacy for all clients and analyze data on a frequent and ongoing basis to inform programming.
Develop behavior plans/treatment plans for all clients, focusing on teaching and other antecedent strategies for reducing problematic behavior(s).
Meet as needed with supervised staff to discuss ongoing client issues and to provide support when necessary.
Review and sign off on the treatment plan training for all field staff and provide field supervision.
Provide consultation services and maintain ongoing communication with all constituents (other supports, parents, community, and community agencies).
Stay current with the latest literature, new research findings, and relevant resources.
Maintain all data, paperwork, and communication between personal care staff and families, and provide ongoing feedback to government-related agencies that contract with such families.
Perform other duties as assigned.
