About The Position

This position supports the Department of Biomedical Engineering within the Cockrell School of Engineering, working closely with the Senior Events & Engagement Coordinator. The role involves creating high-quality graphic designs for social media, email communications, printed and digital marketing materials, and on-campus digital displays. Additionally, the student assistant will help with department events, including preparation, signage, digital presentations, and other engagement materials to enhance the BME community's experience. This role provides hands-on experience with real-world projects in a collaborative academic setting.

Requirements

• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud
• Pursuing a major with related to communications, marketing, and/or design

Nice To Haves

• Experience taking professional photographs

Responsibilities

• Assist the BME communications & marketing team in creating high-quality, graphic designs for social media, emails, marketing collateral (print & digital) and digital displays.
• Assist the BME events team by capturing high quality photographs of department events
