BME Design Student Assistant, Biomedical Engineering
About The Position
Support the Department of Biomedical Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin, within the Cockrell School of Engineering, by working closely with the Senior Events & Engagement Coordinator. This position will be responsible for creating high‑quality graphic designs for social media, email communications, printed and digital marketing materials, and on‑campus digital displays. The role also includes assisting with department events by supporting event preparation, signage, digital presentations, and other engagement materials that enhance the BME community’s experience. This position offers hands‑on experience contributing to real‑world projects in a collaborative academic environment.
Requirements
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud
- Pursuing a major with related to communications, marketing, and/or design
Nice To Haves
- Experience taking professional photographs
Responsibilities
- Assist the BME communications & marketing team in creating high-quality, graphic designs for social media, emails, marketing collateral (print & digital) and digital displays.
- Assist the BME events team by capturing high quality photographs of department events
