About The Position

Pay r ange: $ 2 0. 94 - $23.58 (PT -5) Location: The t own of C ohasset is seeking a Blue Group Coordinator for the summer program with the Recreation Department . This position reports to the Blue Group Director/Recreation Director. Description of r esponsibilities: The blue group coordinator is the assistant director of the program. Responsibilities include daily preparation & taking 5- 6 year-old children to daily swimming lessons . The primary responsibility of all the staff is to supervise and lead children age s 5- 6 through the Playground program . A ctivities such as games, sports, arts and crafts, songs, dance, drama, and field trips while ensuring a safe, supervised environment. Additional duties include supporting the director and coordinators, participating in training sessions, maintaining records such as weekly attendance and accident reports, and ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of the facility and grounds. Staff will also enforce Recreation Department rules and policies related to the program and deliver exceptional customer service to both patrons and fellow staff members We are dedicated to building a diverse and committed team with a positive group dynamic, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for the children in our program. Requirements

  • CPR: All applicants must hold a current CPR certification.
  • CPR classes will be provided to staff at no cost.
  • 202 6 Summer Program Dates: Monday, June 29 th through Friday, August 7
  • Session 1 June 29 th through July 17 th – Mon-Fri
  • Session 2 July 20 th through August 7 th – Mon-Fri
  • Orientation Mandatory – week of June 22 nd
  • Deadline to Apply: March 15, 2026
