About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Blaster to join our team. This role involves operating automated and hand-held grit blast equipment to prepare metal surfaces for coating. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, respirator test, and fit test
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
• Team-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

• Prep parts and perform grit blasting to meet required specifications
• Prepare interior and exterior metal surfaces for painting and coating
• Maintain blasting equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
