About The Position

Assist with the preparation and detonation of explosives. Work from a man basket at heights of 25' up to 50' performing hand scaling, markup and face loading activities. Use a variety of hand and power tools. Handle and transport explosives safely. Perform routine maintenance and inspections of blasting equipment. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures. Support the blasting team with various tasks as needed.

• Ability to work a variable and flexible schedule.
• Flexibility to work in various weather conditions.
• Physical capability to handle the demands of the job including standing, sitting, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 75 pounds as when as other physical demands.
• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
• Ability to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms background check
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
